About Timbria
Timbria composes music from images — deterministically, from what an image actually contains.
The name
Timbria takes its name from timbre, the character of a sound — said TIM-bree-a.
What we hold ourselves to
The same image, in the same style, always gives the same piece for that version of the engine. Every note is composed by Timbria's own engine; an AI model is used only to suggest a style, suggest starting settings, and write a title and description.
Who we are
Timbria was created by Sergio Muscat, an artist and software engineer. We are growing the team as the product grows, and we are lucky to be supported by advisors from several sectors.
Where we are
Timbria is working today, with museum collections live and the studio open. Become a partner, or try the studio on an image of your own.
